Shakira

I forgot to post about our first concert in a long long time...Shakira. For my birthday/mothers day/our anniversary, Logan surprised me with tickets to go see Shakira in October. I was a little worried at first that her concert would be a little risque for me. Then I also worried that the whole thing would be in spanish and I wouldn't like it. We found baby sisters (2 of Logans classmates Justine and Kiani) and went and I have to say it was one of the best concerts that I have been to. She is an amazing performer!! It wasn't at all trashy. Loved it! I especially liked that she sang most of her songs in Spanish. Most of them sound better in spanish and her spanish was very clear and easy to understand... not like Puerto Rican spanish.

As you can tell we had the "cheap seats". That's about all we could afford! But we loved it.

We live about a quarter of a mile from the Coliseum where all the concerts/events are so we just walked. Here in Puerto Rico everyone parks wherever they want. I swear the police write tickets once a year. I've even seen people run huge red lights infront of police and they didn't do anything. So anytime there is a concert people park up on the sidewalks once the parking lot fills up.
