Moving

On Feb 16th we moved into a new place. It is a million times better than our old apartment and it's cheaper. We love it! We owe a big, huge thank you to Lisa and Ryan Harding for helping us get their old apartment.

Kitchen

TV room/ dining area

View from the front area. I took this picture through the window screen, as you can tell. There is a fantastic breeze that comes off of this water. We love it. Aftons is pretty entertained watching the ferry and trains from the windows.

Playroom

Girls room

Upstairs room and rooftop

Moving all our junk... literally junk. :)

Afton found ways to keep herself entertained through the whole thing.
Lucky for us our new apartment is in the same complex and is pretty much the same set up as our last one. It made moving and putting things away easier!

Dr. Pepper

It is practically impossible to find Dr. Pepper on this island. None of the restaurants have it. none of the grocery stores have it. We know of only one gas station that periodically has it. Personally I'm not a DP lover but Logan is. Imagine his excitement when I found a whole case of. Pretty excited.

La Cueva de Ventana

After getting back to PR we decided to go explore something new together as a family. This island has a lot to do, we just have such little time with Logans intense schedule. We found a Saturday where we had a free afternoon and decided to check out some caves that are about an hour from our house. It was pretty awesome. The caves are amazing.

On the trail to the caves. You park at a gas station then walk up a hill. There aren't any signs, just a path.

We somehow managed to forget the baby bjorne at home. I decided to stay with Emery while Afton and Logan explored one of the smaller caves that had a slick entrance. We also forgot flashlights... clearly the trip was not well planned. Luckily we had lights on our phones that were bright enough.

Entrance to the first cave

Entrance to The Window Cave

Someone has carved out steps. It looks steeper and a harder climb than it really was.

After you climb down the entrance you have to walk through a pitch black cave for a while. it was a little creepy but very cool. It starts to get lighter than you turn a corner and ta da:

Sitting down feeding the Louster

The view is amazing.

The Last part of Winter break

We spent a lot of time our last few weeks in the backyard. I can't wait for the day that we have a backyard!

Also spent a lot of time loving on grandma's puppies. I can't wait until we can get our own dogs!

A few days before heading home I went in to get a few blonde highlights and came out with dark auburn hair! What the heck!!!! Not happy about it. Since then it has faded but I can not wait to get it fixed to what I want!

Good Bye #6

We have had to say goodbye to Logan 6 times now. I look forward to the day when he gets to fly with me and the kids! ;) Afton and I took him together. There was no crying this time.... Thank goodness.

Taken with my phone

Lucky guy. He was selected to walk through the "special" and very revealing body scanners. Have you seen what TSA see's when you go through one of these... Doesn't leave much to the imagination!

Emery's First Food

Emery had been throwing up so much that we decided to try her out on some baby food. One taste and she was hooked. She just attacked the spoon whenever it got close enough. Sadly putting her on solids really hasn't helped the throw up/spit up.

Sarah & Michael Green

On December 30th 2011, Michael and Sarah were married in the Fresno Temple. What a fun event for our family. We are so happy and lucky to have Sarah join our family. She's awesome.

I thought this was a cute pic of Charles and Peanut

trying to get family pictures but Afton was feeling silly

Looking good Logan, Looking good.

Our second attempt at getting family pictures.

Aunt Becky, Aunt Hope, Uncle Bruce, Cousin Keri, and Ashlee

The wedding was right in the middle of Emerys naptime. She finally conked out.

Afton still talks about Aunt Sarah the princess and how she got married in the temple.

Some of the wedding decorations. I just used my phone to take most of these pics.

A thumb print tree for guest sign in. My friend Ashley DeWitt drew this in 3o minutes... So talented.

Congratulations Sarah and Mike!
