A pretty exciting day for Logan. He has been working at a hospital since he got home from his mission. A long time! Which also mean he has been working holidays, late hours, and night shifts since coming home from his mission. Not fun. It was just a job for him, not what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. So his last day of work was great, he wasn't just moving onto another job, but moving towards the job that he really wants!
Of course I had to pester him and take pictures of him getting ready for work the last time!
His co-workers had a party for him at work. They made this banner. So nice. I guess the one thing he will miss is the people!

July 5th
I love summer. There are so many fun things to do with friends and family. Good thing it's like summer all year round here! We got up early the day after the 4th to go boating with the Christensens. We had a blast with their fun family.
Logans first time knee boarding. ha ha. He must be getting old because afterwards he said it hurts his knee's.
Kristi and her girls
Logan and I had major whiplash the next morning form entertubing!
After the lake we headed home, changed, and went out to dinner with my family and the Termeers to Olive Garden. I had to throw this picture in... David wearing Mom's glasses. ha ha
After dinner we took family pictures of the Termeers.

Today
I'm not quite caught up but I wanted to post about today. It was a good day. And hopefully Heather doesn't kill me for posting the first picture. :)
Afton and Carson(her buddy) with Heather. aka:Mom
Apparently the fish love Doritos and cookies. It was a little windy so the pictures aren't very clear but there were hundreds of bright fishes eating our crumbs.

4th of July!!
I love this Holiday. Not sure which one is my favorite but the 4th and Halloween are definitely the top 2. We're so grateful to live in the country that we live in. We're grateful to those that serve in the armed forces to protect our freedoms. As the saying goes... Home of the free, because of the brave. We're grateful for our founding fathers and the sacrifices that so many made so that we could live free.
God Bless America.
Afton in her church dress
She loved these snaps
We headed over to the Christensens for bbq dinner. Afton tried pushing Mia in her stroller. Mia seriously sat in this stroller the whole time we were there without making a peep! What a good girl. Afton would be screaming after 5 minutes.
Thier neighbors had put up a bounce house.

Gone Shootin'
Fourth of July weekend Logan, Kris and his dad went out shooting to use his gun one last time before we left for PR and left it in Fresno. Not worth the money to get it here, pay for a gun permit, and then live in the city and have no where to shoot anyway.
Best Friends Forever!....Very cute Kris.

Pink eye
I've never in my life seen pink eye this bad. We put afton to bed normal and she woke up with eyes so swollen she couldn't open them. They were so goopey and crusty and red. It was awful. Luckily my mom works for an eye doctor who gave us antibiotic drops.
These are Aftons eyes after cleaning them a couple of times and day of antibiotics. looking better!
It's amazing that maz didn't get it too with how much they played together during it all.

Vegas
On our way home from Utah, we spent a night in Vegas. I am certain now that I am just not a Vegas person. It was fun but really I think there are more exciting places. Plus it's annoying that you can't look down while walking or you see Porn all over the walkway.(apparently I look down a lot while I walk) And, I swear I kept getting random whiff's of sewage all throughout the strip. It also doesn't help that I don't gamble and I absolutley hate the smell of smoke and people smoking aorund me. So I'm sure it's fun for shows but other than that, not for me. Anyway, It was a nice break in our 12 hour drive but not a vacation destination for me.
We took this picutre and then our battery died. So this is the best picture we got.
