The Allred Wedding

On 8-8-08 Ryan and Heidi Allred were officially married! It was a lot of fun to come and participate with everyone in all the festivities... even the setting up for the wedding! On Thursday night Ryan planned a great activity for all the mission buddies... unfortunately it wasn't safe for pregnant women. Some of us, including me, had to sit this one out. No biggie. It was still a lot of fun watching everyone eat it on the flowrider. Friday was the wedding and then on Saturday we headed home. It was a long drive and a really short trip. We wished we could have stayed longer but Logan had to be in San Diego on Monday for a job interview. We had a great time and got to see some great friends. Hopefully it won't be too long until we can see everyone again.

Getting ready for their turn on the Flowrider.

Logan starting...

.... and riding! It was a little hard to get a good clear picture because the lighting inside was so bad and our camera doesn't have a setting to take action pictures.

Getting ready for another run.

Crashing pretty hard this time. Luckily there was foam under the water.

All the riders! Everyone did great and picked it up fast.

The women that couldn't ride but had fun laughing at everyone else that could!

I love this picture. You can see the confusion in their faces. We went early on Friday morning to help set up. I mostly took pictures but these guys did actually put up a lot of tables and chairs. They even decorated the swing set! Not bad!

It was early. I didn't want to change out of my pj's. haha.

When we arrived early to the wedding Allred had to send the boys back to pick up the marriage license. He had forgotten it at the house.

The ceremony... so cute.

Logan found a little garder snake on a rock. He caught it and brought it back to me. The little kids loved it... and even the grown ups. :)

All the mission buddies that came.

Logan and I at the reception. Getting this picture took alot of effort. Everytime we'd get ready to take one someone would stick something in front of our faces or bump the camera. But we did eventually get one together! We loved the food there. They had a cotton candy machine and a snowcone machine. If you don't already know, I love, love, love snowcones and Logan loves cotton candy. Maybe we should purchase our own machines so we can have them all the time!

Every wedding we try and take a picture with just the bride and groom and this always ends up happening.... the boys quickly jump in right before the camera flashes! haha. So every wedding we have a picture of the bride, groom, me, Logan, and his mission buddies. :)

And the best picture with the most important people in the group... the wives!... not all of us but some were still there when we took this picture.

We move way to much!

On July 28th We moved out of the house we were living in. We weren't quite sure yet where we were going to move from there so we had to put all of our things in storage in San Diego. We had kept most of our things in boxes since our last move so it wasn't as bad as it could have been but, it was a really long couple of days. I was exhausted! We got to San Diego at about 10:30 on Monday night. That night we tried packing and organizing some things in the garage but that wasn't going so well so we decided to call it a night and get some sleep. Tuesday morning we woke up around 7:20 and picked up the moving truck and then got busy packing and loading up the truck. Of course Logan did most of the loading! I had the hard job of organizing, lifting small items, and moral support for Logan. Everytime we move we decide that we have too much stuff and need to get rid of some things before our next move and so we get rid of things. At the rate of how often we move we will soon have nothing! j/k We had a lot of great help from some friends. Kris is so good at packing things in just perfectly. Without him I'm not sure that we would have fit everything into our 9 by 9 storage unit. When I asked him how he got so good at packing he told me it was from playing a lot of tetris. haha. Back to the subject of the 9 by 9 storage unit. For some reason Logan always thinks that we can fit our stuff into really small spaces. The last couple times we have moved he has underestimated how much stuff we have. Though I must admit he is getting better. This time our moving truck was big enough not like last time or the time before. But, he did underestimate how much room we would need in storage. We ended up having to upgrade to a bigger storage unit and it just barely fit into that! We are so lucky to have good friends that are so willing to help us out when we need it! Thanks guys!

Logan doing all the heavy lifting... I really lucked out this time!

Finally eating some lunch!

Getting last minute small things packed.

The baby bellys getting bigger... 27 weeks in this picture.

Rob dawg... a big help. He came for the skittles I gave him. :) j/k

Kris... our master packer.

Logan... working up a sweat.

Everything barely fit in!

The crew relaxing and getting some IN-N-OUT after our hard work is done! Thanks guys!

My favorite thing in the summer!

Swimming! I love going swimming, especially now that I'm starting to feel a little large and heavy! :) Lucky for us Logans sister Kristi and her husband Aaron have an awesome swimming pool! We wish we lived closer so that we could go swimming with them more often! Here are some summertime swimming pictures.

Just relaxing on the sweet deck

Ashlee and Logans Rock Band

So one very long night Ashlee and Logan stayed up until about 2:30 in the morning playing Rock Band. Logan had decided that they weren't going to bed until they got all the way through one of the songs on the hard setting. I can't remember the song, though I should since they played it over and over and over again for hours until they passed it. They had a lot of fun and we all definitely celebrated when they were able to move on to a new song.

Logan trying to save Ashlee with his super star power.

And they passed!

Logans 26 Birthday take two!

The day after going out to dinner with Logans family for his birthday, my family had a little birthday dinner for Logan at home. The food was great and so was the awesome birthday cake I made!... a chocolate cake with mint and chip icecream in the middle and Logans moms fudge frosting ontop. I was pretty proud of it! :) So here are some of the pictures!

It's a double gift... a slap bracelet but also a gift card to circuit city! Pretty awesome.

Mikes beautiful wrapping with supplies he found at work.

Logans 26th Birthday!

Can you believe it! Logan is already 26. It's crazy to think that we met when he was only 21! The time is just going by too fast! We went to dinner with his family on his birthday. I can't remember the name of the restaurant but it was really good. His sister Katie planned it all. I planned for everyone to go to the movies that night and see the new batman movie. Logan had been wanting to see it but it came out while we were camping. I called and invited everyone from logans side of the family but they all have little kids... so they probably wouldn't have liked all the killing and explosions! Katie called to see if we wanted to go out to dinner with them before the movie. When we got there almost everyone was there or on their way there. It was a nice surprise for Logan! They couldn't go to the movie but they all made sure to meet up for the birthday dinner. It was great...there were even cupcakes and singing. :) Thanks guys!

Grizzlies Game

Family Night at the grizzlies game is the best deal ever! Two tickets to the game, two tickets to the Island water park, two hot dogs, and two drinks for only 14 dollars! What a steal! And, it's conveniently on Monday nights. :)When we got back from camping we went with my family for family home evening. It was a lot of fun. I found that the one hot dog was just not enough, apparently my appetite has increased. Who would have guessed that! j/k It was a good game except that all the action happened in one inning! Luckily for us the Fresno Grizzlies beat the Salt Lake Bee's. We also went to an arena football game with Logans family. Unfortunately our camera was dead that night since it was the day that we got home from camping. It was surprisingly fun to watch. We both had never been to an arena football game nor did we realize that Fresno had a team. We have had a lot of fun with family in the time that we've been up in fresno. It'll be sad to go home and back to work and our responsibilities! :)

Mazur our nephew fell asleep before the game was over. I guess the game was exciting enough to him!

All the people that went...well except me.
