What's Autumn without a visit to the pumpkin patch!? We stopped by one but ended up not buying any pumpkins... they're cheaper at the super market and we're lame. So Savemart thank you for your 3 for $10 deal. We did however make sure to go down the super slide while we were there. I think Afton held her breath the whole way down. haha. The things we make her try! Still not quite 20 pounds!
Climbing through the pumpkins
Grandma took this pic... it was a nice try. :)

It's football season...
... and when dad came back from his last stint in San Diego he brought this jersey home for the little girl. He loves seeing her wear it.
And recently Aftons been eating a lot of PB&J's. She loves them but I don't love cleaning her up afterwards. :)

Playing with Puppies and Hot Rods!
Ok well maybe not hot rods but she acts like it sometimes. She gets on Mazurs 3 wheeler and acts like she owns the world and has a need for speed! She loved those puppies while they were here.

October
October, October, October... you never let me down. That's why you are and will always be my favorite month! Her are a few pics from October. Getting ready for Halloween to come!!! I can never get her to leave her bows on!
She always immediately takes her bows off and then tries putting them back on her head... what a weird girl.
And this was cut off!!!! I am free! (Don't worry you can't see anything)
Eating more raw vegetable. Cucumbers in this pic.
One sad little princess. The day after her birthday dad had to leave and go to San Diego to work two more weeks at his job. We both missed him. Thanks to Kris and Emily at the Holliday Inn for giving him a place to stay!
Now she's happy. What a cute girl.

The Big Birthday Girl!
What an exciting day for our family. We love this little girl and how much love and joy and silliness she has brought into our lives this past year. We miss our sleep but she has been well worth it. This last year went by way to fast! I miss my little baby! But I'm loving seeing her grow and progress and develop more personality. What a little stinker she can be at times but then what a little sweetheart she can be. I can't imaging life without her now that she is here. We are so thankful for her and this last year that we have gotten to spend getting to know her. I hope to always be close to her. I hope that she will always know that I love her. Happy Birthday Afton, our big girl! Good Morning Birthday Girl!!
The breakfast of birthday girls. I know cereal for breakfast on your birthday!? It was Sunday and we were hurrying to get ready for 9 a.m. church..... and it's her favorite. Frosted mini wheats.
Making the cupcakes!
Final touches on the cake
Dads favorite! Logan made some of his famous chili. It's always delicious... and meaty.
The finished product. Chocolate cake with buttercream frosting and fondant polka dots. I'll admit, the frosting wasn't that great but Afton didn't mind. I need to find a good buttercream recipe.
Logan and cousin Charlie getting the pit ready for hotdog cooking
Avery was my little helper. Such a cutie with her big brown eyes. :)
Afton and Aunt Kristi (and skinky the skunk)
The cupcake tower and cake. The cupcakes were chocolate with cream cheese frosting... very good!
Eating with Uncle Marc. This girl will eat anything you give her. She's eating raw asparagus in this pic... pretty impressive.
Playing with balloons and Uncle Mike
Almost walking but not quite. She would take up to 8 steps in a row for months but would always sit down after a few steps to crawl.
Birthday girl and her favorite boy.
I love this silly girl!
Ha ha. Miss Mia was having a lot of fun pressing her face up against the window door
Cake time!
Notice the train. Mom feeding Afton, Afton feeding Dad.
She always, always smashes her food on her head. Everyday!! Everytime she eats!! How do I get her to not do that!!! haha
All done and ready to get down! Can you tell!?
Opening presents. I can't wait until she can open presents herself!
What a great day it was. Thank you to everyone that made it special and all of those who have loved our little girl during this first year of her life! We love you all and appreciate you!

The Big big big Fresno Fair!
We have really missed this Fair! It's been years since we have been able to go. Well this year we were back in Fresno in time to go and I have to say, we were so impressed! Everything was much cheaper, and cleaner and less crowded than San Diego's fair. Fresno has really stepped it up since we last went. I was expecting it to be the same ghetto fair from my childhood but it was not at all. So if next year you're thinking of going.... GO.
The car parker, aka Dad
Caught mooing at the cows :)
Those poor cows... I know how you feel!
There was all sorts of great toys and exhibits for kids. Afton tried eating some of the beans in this big bean box.
Moms favorite exhibit.... the reptiles! Afton loved it too. Now if we could only convince dad that snakes are cool.
After looking around and getting food we met up with my family and went to the beach boys concert. I love their music and being a California girl.
And what is a fair without a few rides. We ditched our sleeping baby and went on two rides, just the two of us. That was the fastest spent 20 dollars! I loves the swings!
And last a slow ferris wheel ride sitting close to my favorite person. A cute video of Afton dancing to the beach boys. She loved it.
