I hope your house never looks like this.

Things have gotten a little crazy here. It's a big task going through all your things! We had a very big garage sale and sold a ton of stuff!! But, we still have a ton of stuff to sell. It's amazing how much stuff we have collected in 5 years of marriage!! Stuff, stuff, stuff. So by noon we were pretty cleaned out. A lot of people came by and we didn't even post it in the newspaper. They must read my blog.. jk. We put up tons of signs everywhere and put it on craigslist. So, we're having another garage sale this Saturday. Come and help us get rid of everything!!

All the shoes I own. Pretty impressive considering I know there are a lot of you out there that own like 80 pairs of shoes!! :)

Sad to see these go.... we go way back.

Cleaned out. OUr driveway was full of stuff and by the end it was pretty pathetic.

Thanks Peanut and Sharon for coming by and helping!

Mothers Day #2

Great great great day. Logan got me a 75 minute massage for 37 bucks on groupon! 1- I love massages and seem to always have huge knots for them to get out. 2- He didn't spend a whole lot of money. 3- I was on call that day and was never called out to work. So I got the day off! Great day! I went for my massage today and the lady was so nice and did a little extra because my neck was so tight. I loved it. So thank you Logan!

We forgot to take pictures so last minute before bed we snapped a few.

Things went from laughing to crying all within like a minute... yah it was time for bed.

Happy Mothers day to all the Woman out there!

Rolla!!

Saying goodbye is so hard to do! I'll miss my white car (or as dad liked to call it, the "peep mobile"). I've had it since I was 15. It's the one car Logan and I have had for our whole marriage. So sad. Does anyone else get this attached to their things? But letting go of all of our things is so worth what we've been offered. We're excited to move to Puerto Rico and for Logan to start school. So peace out cars. Be good to your new owners.... atleast until we leave so they can't find us. ;)

Selling cars is such a pain. It seems like everything goes wrong! Anyway, we had to meet the person to sell our blue car in Madera and it took three hours or negotiations, driving away, coming back, mind games, etc. I hate that stuff. But finally it was finished and we could come home.

The crew. We had to take Afton and our Nephew Mazur. I was actually glad Maz came, he entertains Afton.

Sealing the deal. :(

She's smiling now but there were some very emotional spurts during this trip. I don't blame the girl. 3 hours!!! It was supposed to take 1.

He's in!

Well last Saturday we found out some very exciting news! Logan got into Dental School! It's so great to see the payoff of so many years of hard work. It's really really hard to get in right now so we were expecting for it to take a couple of years. Literally there are thousands of people applying for like 40 spots at schools. So, where are we going?.... Puerto Rico. Yah I know some of you are thinking "what?!" and "is that legite?!" So here's the story of how it all began. When going through the whole tedious process of applying to school 2 years ago, Logan was on the adsas website. Basically you apply to all the school through one website. The website sends all the schools that you request your info, transcripts, Dat scores etc. Then the schools contact you and you send the schools secondary information. When Logan was going through the list of schools to apply for he noticed the University of Puerto Rico(UPR) was one of the options. So after looking into it he found out that it is infact a US school (since they are a US territory) and that the exams and books are in English (inorder for it to be accredited it had to be) but that the teachers had to option of lecuring in Spanish, since their patients will most likely speak spanish. So we jumped on it and applied there too! Why not! He had an interview in December and found out that each year they only accept 1-2 out of staters; we felt our odds go down. :( Then we got the letter that we had been hoping for! He is in and will be starting school the first of August! So exciting for us and for him. He's worked so hard for this. So:

yes, it is legite
yes, it is completely accredited as all the other US schools
no, it is not really cheap, no denatl school is cheap!
no, it is not like going to school in Mexico (not to make that sound bad, just
a lot of people have asked me that)
no, he will not have to do any other schooling or take any other exams to practice here (just the same exam they all take after they graduate.)
yes, we will be living in Puerto Rico for the next four years.

To celebrate, Logan called into work and instead we all went out to eat. It's always more fun going to dinner when you have something to celebrate!

We will be moving out of the house we were renting in two weeks. We are currently selling pretty much everything we own since shipping it was going to cost about 8,000dollars for a 10x10 space.

So if you might be interested in renting, the Rowleys in the Northstake own the house. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 livingroom house. It has the perfect size little backyard with grass for kids. It across the street from some great neighbors (my parents). If you interested, let them or me know.

Also, we are having a HUGE GARAGE SALE Saturday 5/15 (tomorrow)! We have to sell everything!! Starts at 7:00 a.m. so stop by!! We need to get rid of this stuff asap and we will have all sorts of stuff to sell. Some of you have already stopped by for the pre-sale.. thank you!! Here's the info:

I hope he never grows up.

Because he's pretty great entertainment for us.

Clovis Rodeo Parade

I don't really have a whole lot to say about this since once again, I missed out! Poor Heidi, I know. But, Logan and Afton had a great time. I ended up meeting up with them for lunch at Bobby Salazars right after. Afton made that whole experience AWFUL!!! Serious! Worst tantrums ever! She was pretty pooped out from the parade. I think she took a three hour nap that day(long for her). It gave us time to recoop from the lunch experience and prep for the next tantrum.

In the process of a tantrum. You know, kicking the legs, throwing her body and arms, crying very loud. Acting CRAZY!
About the lose my mind!

So the parade was a success, lunch not so much. :)

City of Fresno

Thank you for the hour of entertainment everyday while you were hear fixing the tree roots. Afton sure appreciated it, but not as much as we did.

Frogs...

They're pretty magical to this little girl.

And so is her daddy

There's no place like home...

Date night!

Logan got off work early (9:30p.m.) so we put Afton down at my parents house and went to the movies. It was great. We hadn't done that in a long. time.

The infamous after the movie bathroom run. Especially since we sneaked in a large bottle of this...

Then finally at home alone with no baby. :) Date nights are a necessity!

18 month checkup

Weight: 22 pounds (25th%)
Height: 32 inches (50th%)
Head: 19 inches (95th%!!!)

One big noodle! And the poor girl needs to gain some weight! She was pretty good with all of her shots, especially since they give them gummy worms afterwards.

loved listening to her heart and mama's heart.

Gummy worms made everything feel better.

Her new prescription. Mom wanted this but dad wasn't so sure about it until the Dr. told him why. It only took one fussy day for the sippy cup to be gone (she's never taken a pacifier or bottle). Not bad at all. Now she drinks out of a regular cup all the time.

With her band-aids.
And once she noticed them there she ripped them off.

We also had a crazy storm that day. Lots of thunder, lightning, and hail. Logan and Afton sat outside on the porch and watched it storm for about an hour.

Then it was time for horsy rides. Her new favorite thing.

yeehaw!

oh we love this girl.
